<p>Ross was never exceptional. He never got the girl, never took a stand for what was right, never learned any exciting tricks. He'd always been the back-up to others he knew, and if not a supporting role, a punching bag. All that failing, he was a massive nerd, through and through.</p> <p>When a horrible accident forces him into an alternate world ruled by magic, monsters and inter-species conflict, Ross realizes he hasn't got much of a choice but to try and play back-up to the heroes he encounters in this new reality - something he's perfectly happy with.</p> <p>Unfortunately, he keeps finding himself in the limelight unintentionally and unwillingly, and it's all thanks to a truly unique set of abilities only he has obtained.
