Story doesn't start until ACT 2.

Amanda is great! She own's her own house, She has amazazing friends, and she even really, really hopes that she can get a dog of her own to love and raise and die with soon! (Wait... what?) Because she will absolutely NOT let her (probably) genetic dispositions get to her! No sirree. But all that is to change when Ryan Chestnut comes into the office, Yes, a cute man with an even cuter name made her (Asexual) heart flutter, Chestnut! Oh... Can you just imagine those little cheeks of his filling up with nuts? I certainly can!

Of course, Ryan has his own inadequacies that cause some really bad future regrets, ones that are only heightened when his best friend, he's doing all this for her, really. But when she pushed him away and told him to, "get a normal job, see that girl, it's alright if you don't volunteer information on the first date. I really need you to get rid of your pity party!" Can he make it on his own? Or will he run away to whatever worn torn place he volunteers to be sent to?

Posted daily. ~100k+ ~1.5k per chapter, will (it better be...) be completed in December? It's my first attempt at being partially campy, so don't be gentle with your comments!

A sometimes campy, sometimes traumatic, my first attempt at being a happy-hall cozy romance.

#LGBTQA+ (Yeah, I think I got all those in there.) #profanity (Yeah, it's probably needless), #light-druguse, #light_adult-themes,

Surprisingly related to all of my other stories.

Original plot is as follows: "A tale of a wordsmith who wants to get his story published and instead of just breaking into the exciting world of fiction, reminds his bosses of childhood traditions and gives his new community a special sort of hope."

Don't hesitate to give me comments!

Crossposted on wattpad: Inkwell Office's LGTBA Adopt-A-Romance! @ MichaelLeclair8

tapas: Inkwell's Santa stories @ karei714

PM/comment for the epub. (audio tts is the way that I go. and it's very hard on mobile... like, none of these apps do it? or maybe I'm just really stupid.)
