Yet underneath a sky of flame, the world turned dark as technology failed them and humans lost their edge.</p> <p>Left to their own devices, the seeds of chaos that were planted by men long ago spread and crumpled the institutions built to uphold order. Friends grew bitter and turned their back on each other while the streets turned to blood.</p> <p>Soon after the fall, they came. First individually and then in packs, turning civilization to ash. The first to see them thought they were figments of the imagination but by the time they realized what it was, the shadows had taken them. In a world like this, there was only one thing that ensured survival.
