<p>Pain. Destruction. Fear for one's life. Monsters emerged because of someone's stupidity or curiosity.</p> <p>That was the year 2020, when the apocalypse started in the Amazonian forest and quickly enveloped the whole earth.</p> <p>After that? Perhaps there was no Earth any longer since no one cared about some naming of the ground beneath their feet.</p> <p>It has been more than a century since then, and William has a strange thing within his forearm called the Emblem. Their history and origins stem from the decade since the start of the apocalypse. A boy is born around the 30ties of the 21st century, with a magnificent gem within his chest.</p> <p>The very first Emblem. A strange thing indeed.</p> <p>It mattered very little, as the monsters would keep on hunting. It made sense back then since it has been a couple of generations ago already.</p> <p>Tough living, humanity still survives. They are like cockroaches, quite resilient. The Walkers had the power of the System of the Emblem and are forcing the Dark Age back, or at least they are trying to.</p> <p>Perhaps a chance that is a William is a path towards finding the end of this madness? Not one would dare to guess the Outsider to be a good Walker, but he wants to since his parents used to be one. He still doesn't like it… but it is his path that is forced upon him.</p> <p>Story? Survival of humanity at the point in the future, where living conditions are passable, at best. It has been more than a century of warfare against the Dark beings, and William is a survivor, as well as the fortunate young man, who has been gifted with the Emblem.</p> <p>Disclaimer: Warning for the reader's discretion. I had pointed out a lot of troublesome things in my grammar by a few people. With the second language being English, I advise readers' discretion before putting high expectations on something they would probably regret.</p> <p>Warning! A shoe ton of gore, blood, and pain will be portrayed. Chapter 0 is a prime example, but the slice of life here is too… but… just so you know.</p> <p>Kids are suddenly born with strange abilities and possibilities of getting stronger and weirder through the system-like elements through the Emblems? What sort of world would it cause for the possible politics and destruction of the world?</p> <p>That is about that. I would argue it is a mixture of dystopian Edge of Tomorrow, and a bit of Solo Leveling without heroism, time-loop, and tech. A lot of post-apo stuff and the world of Earth we all love.</p> <p>What you will read about is a darker world, with a slice of life, military, and survival in world-building settings what I am building for. The aspect of the system and litrp elements will be brief since I am new to this style, but it could change if I will improve with it over time. Action will be limited, though it could change as I will get comfortable with this story.</p> <p>Expect chapters on a daily basis, without fixed time, since this is the second novel of mine. 1500-2000 per chapter.</p> <p>LETS GOOO!</p>
