However, his plans change drastically when he and his mother suddenly leave Kanto for the distant Nutera region, and chaos ensues. Slate generally prefers the company of Pokémon over people, but after a group of thugs turn his world upside-down, he is forced to partner with the infuriating April Larch on a dangerous, high-stakes mission. While facing the daily challenges of being a Trainer in a politically and economically unstable foreign region, Slate must establish bonds with unfamiliar people and Pokémon, and grow strong enough to unravel the mysteries of Nutera, expose the sinister plans of Team Shade, and find a cure for his mother's illness.</p> <p>INFORMATION: PSG is an illustrated "original fanfic" i.e. a brand-new adventure set in Satoshi Tajiri's Pokémon world, featuring original characters, an original region, and even original Pokémon (Fakemon).</p> <p>Each chapter includes at least one piece of artwork e.g. a Pokémon or Trainer from the story.
