<p>Matthias Farron awakens suddenly from a millennia-long slumber, unable to move or see, and with no memory of who or where he is. Trapped inside a small stone box he struggles to even move an inch. Only the smell of earth and the taste of his sweat dripping down his face accompany him. Panic sets in as time ticks by, causing a chaotic energy to erupt inside his body. Can he suppress the raging power trying to destroy him from the inside out? Or will it take control? Even if he escapes his stone tomb, his life was never destined to be easy... So tight that you couldn't sit up and so dark that your fears run wild? What if every time you tried to escape, something would put you back to sleep again, and again, and again? This has been Matthias' life for as long as he can recall. He can't remember anything from the past beyond his own name. Vague, fuzzy memories dance in the distance as he struggles to remember, but the harder he tries, the more he forgets. He's lost count of the times he's awoken to bang on the ceiling and be forced back to a tormented slumber. Finally, he snaps and power, chaotic and furious, swells from deep inside him. I have will have a heavy focus on character development, clear progression, strong themes, and making Beyond Control a slow (but riveting) burn lol. It would mean the world if you all would drop a follow and lemme know what you think, all criticism and advice welcome.</p> <p>Also, this story in a way satisfies a soft spot I've got for aura users, who get inevitably shafted by MC magic mains. So I thought it would be cool to give an aura build some protagonist spice.</p>
