If you're wondering about the Sports tag, this novel is taking part in a polite protest about the lack of an LGBT+ one. It is utterly ridiculous that there is no tag for fans of LGBT+ content to find this series. The site admins have repeatedly refused to give us one, so we're stealing the Sports tag. Let it be known that from this moment, Sports = Gay as fuck.

I apologise to any genuine Sports authors who are may get caught up in this, but I hope you can put up with the inconvenience.

Until recently this story was innacurately tagged as 'Genderbender' which is described by Royal Road as the following: "Gender Bender fictions utilise the theme of gender swapping. The gender swapping can be temporary or permanent, full or partial, and may or may not be the theme based on which the fiction revolves."

I initially tagged my story as Genderbender out of fear. I was scared of being review bombed into the Stoneage if I left it out. I even wrote an additional disclaimer at the end of my blurb to warn people of the potentially traumatising queer content. So having reached a small amount of success, I say no longer.

This story is not about a man bemoaning his sudden lack of a penis, or recieving a surprise vagina. My characters genders have never changed from how they were initially written. I wrote a story where the protagonist is a trans dragon who doesn't want to admit it to herself for a while, and after she finally does, all references to her gender are meant to be affirming. There is no questioning the validity of her 'choice', no going back and forth, nor are there any 'gender issues' as some reviewers have incorrectly complained, just a trans character in a wider storyline that isn't about her identity.

If I sound angry, it's because I am.

She's a woman, deal with it and move on.

This story has a female lead, sexual content, and I don't romanticize the romance.

Oh, and I'm not allowed the Drama tag, RR only lets me have four genres and I'm not dropping Action, Adventure, Fantasy, or Romance.

Typhoeus is a dragon. To the humans hunting him, he is nothing more than a monster. A mindless beast to be killed for levels and glory. To him, adventurers are not that much better.

Exiled from his home due to a trait on his status, and so very tired of killing adventurers on a near daily basis, Typhoeus decides to seek refuge hidden amongst the cowed remnants of humanity that populate this world. Armed with a millennium of mystical knowledge, and a powerful new skill that lets him take on the guise of a completely average human woman, the dragon must decide if he can be more than just the words on his status as he is flung headfirst into a life of romance and adventure.

This is his story.

A QUEER ROMANTIC FANTASY / EPIC ACTION & ADVENTURE / LITRPG GENRE MASHUP!

Book 1 - A Sovereign's Scorn (157.3k words, avg 3.9k per chapter) Available now on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited!

Book 2 - A Sovereign's Banner (213.9k words, avg 4.4k per chapter)

Book 3 - A Sovereign's Rebellion

Releasing new chapters on Tuesday and Fridays.

Read up to 15 Chapters ahead on Patreon,

Ask me questions on discord,

And BOOST me on Topwebfiction!

This story contains the following: British English, Profanity, Cliffhangers, LGBT+ Characters & Themes, Explicit Sexual Content, Sexual Threat, Gore, and Overarching Plot.

So no one is surprised, this story features a strong romance storyline between a shapeshifting genderqueer dragon and a human woman. If that's not your thing, feel free to stop reading here.
