She's also a witch—one with great potential, but little skill. She also accidentally killed her grandmother. Whoops.</p> <p>As anti-supernatural sentiment grows, the violence to supernaturals becomes public. People are kidnapped, killed—and the world is becoming more unstable. Loose magic turns street mice into man-eating monsters, for example, and the world is ill-equipped to handle it.</p> <p>When Jacinta's sister Olivia is kidnapped, she follows the men that took her—and realizes that they're not the simple humans she thought they would be. They're a part of a cult, accessing portals to other dimensions, siphoning magic for their own use, becoming unbeatable beasts and legendary kings and powerful creatures there, using magic to further strengthen themselves—</p> <p>While staying human in her realm.</p> <p>Jaci works to save her sister and the others that were killed…and finds herself in a mess that spans across the multiverse. She's captured, reborn—thrown into loops of different selves, starting from step one, yet retaining her memories, her internal self. She has no choice but to work with the enemy to break free…and, eventually, save her sister.</p> <p>Will she survive? Will she destroy them, or be destroyed? Will she ever be Jacinta again?</p> <p>Let's find out.</p> <p>It all began when she killed her grandmother.</p> <p>Disclaimer: this story is going to have elements of readers' choice in the alternate worlds and what Jaci becomes (elements of isekai/transmigration here). It's a blend of multiple genres and worlds, as well, hence some of the tags picked. It will start out with her in her own world, though; it is meant to be a bit of a slow-burn.
