Still, he tried to live a 'normal life' as best as he possibly could. </p> <p> Who could've guessed that despite the times changing, the world would still be threatened. </p> <p> After defeating a so-called 'Witch' and obtaining a shard of her power by himself, he finds out his classmate happened to be a Magical Girl who heroically fought for justice. Her visage reminded him of himself in his youth... </p> <p> As someone who despises self-sacrifice, he refused to give up his 'Witch Shard' or join their team. Living an ordinary life was hard enough without their shenanigans, so he just left them be and cheered for them in the shadows. </p> <p> This signalled the start of his descent into a Dark Ranger filled by the power of darkness. </p> <p> (Note: This isn't a revenge story nor that kind of edgy junk food you read for the edginess. This is basically a slice-of-life, but with a Magical Girl gimmick. I'm writing this for fun so don't ask why the move names are so cheesy and uninspired.) </p>
