Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through five centuries of endless nights.

Claire Wallace was patently unconventional. And in the 16th century, that was hardly considered a virtue for anyone, let alone a young girl. In Claire's case, her outlook on the world led her into a close friendship with another young woman named Chantarell. Chantarell then opened Claire's eyes to a world of magic and intrigue, and deeply guarded secrets.

Another thing that Chantarell led Claire to, was finding her soulmate, Sean. Sean was also drawn into the lives of Chantarell and her rather odd family. Only, his involvement in their lives ultimately led to tragedy, and even darker secrets that completely reshaped the very world around them, as well he and Claire's lives, and their deaths.

After becoming part of this new world of eternal night, Claire and Sean begin their centuries' long struggle to survive immortality: To survive lives that are filled with addictions, desires, power, and a neverending quest to hold onto their humanity, and their love. Will that love grant them the strength to endure, or will they succumb to being the monsters the living world see all of their kind as?

"Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. The rest of the series was then begun after I became so enamored with my 500 year old heroine that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6.

Book 1 covers the years from 1583-1690. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, book 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.
