<p>After the Calamity, a month-long event in which natural disasters occurred, reshaping the landscape of Earth and killing off more than five billion humans, it was discovered that children conceived after the event ended had a chance of being born with a mark upon their body, a Sigil. Known as the Sigil-Bearers, they wielded supernatural abilities, were faster and stronger than normal humans, and had greater physical appearances than normal humans.</p> <p>Nineteen years after the Calamity, Nick, an eighteen-year-old student who prefers hanging out in the ruins of the old society, training his body and skills, doing battle with a cult which worships Sigil-Bearers, or playing video games rather than attending school and making friends, learns that a Sigil-Bearer named Tanner has moved to town only a few weeks before graduation. With Tanner coming to him for help, Nick finds his life turned upside-down and secrets coming to light, along with the coming day for a dark prophecy to come to fruition.</p> <p>Posting Schedule: Chapters will go up as I post them.</p> <p>Important Note:</p> <p>Though Nick sleeps with a couple of different guys in this story, it's not a harem/poly relationship, which is why it doesn't have the tag.</p>
