The day Azalea had died, she was only twelve years old.

It had only been for thirty-eight seconds, or so she'd been told. In truth, she remembered none of it, only waking up well after the fact in the hospital, surrounded by her family. She didn't know what happened, or even much of how it occurred, but it had never mattered. There was only one thing that did, the cause of her death.

Iadral Online. An entirely player-driven game centered around guilds, with millions of concurrent players world-wide. No rules. No story. No interference by the outside world.

Now, on her eighteenth birthday, Azalea finally logs back into the game to discover that she's stuck with one of the game's most useless classes. The Heartmender. It also marks the eve of Iadral Online's newest expansion, The Final Frontier, which brings with it an entire new world to explore, along with one other feature that none could have foreseen.

Every player becomes trapped in the game. Permanently. There's seemingly only one way out, and that's if Azalea can discover the truth of her death while thrust into a world filled with monsters hundreds of levels higher than her. And that's not even counting the guild wars threatening to break out at any moment.
