<p> Whether or not this was real was no longer the foremost question on my mind. If I had lost my mind, so be it. There was nothing I could do to change that. The present reality for me was that everything looks and feels real, including the first strains of starvation. <p> What would happen if a regular person would find themselves in another world? In this magical world with strict social classes, she is an outsider, with no magical superpowers or knowledge of how to build the groundbreaking technology from her old world. She wants what she had taken for granted in her world before, comfort and safety. How will she get it? This is my attempt to take the new world trope, and write a realistic character. </p>
