In the 26th Century A.D., a series of catastrophic wars rendered Terra nearly uninhabitable and drove humanity to the brink of extinction. Fleeing the devastation, most of the survivors spread out into the stars, colonizing most of the Orion Arm of the galaxy. The ancient Gregorian calendar is phased out for the adoption of a new one called the Universal Calendar, kicking off the birth of a new epoch in human history—the Cosmic era.

But as it is in any age, there are some individuals who wish to make a difference in the world. The ambitions of such people can only be evaluated by those living in the same period. As the values of society change with time, so do the interpretations of the historians.

Then there are, of course, the few who forge their destiny. Those with such dreams do enough to accomplish great deeds and forever leave their mark into the annals of history.

The turbulent times of the Cosmic era see such people. From courageous admirals to aspiring dictators, and steadfast martyrs of the stars. These men and women are heralded as "Cosmic Heroes"!

Cover art was a commissioned work done by the artist gar32 – I greatly appreicate working with him and you can check him out on his twitter here !

This novel is primarily done in the vein of a historical narrative that draws inspirations from the 1980s' Japanese OVA Legend of the Galactic Heroes so it may appear rather stiff at times, with some limited use of first person view in some chapters.

For a release schedule, given the scope I am setting myself for I hope every 1 or 2 weeks after the first 9~11 chapters. Regardless, I am determined to see this through as this has been a pet project of mine for the better part of the 2010s'. With that said, I may get distracted by a real life job and other hobbies.
