[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Samael has lived her entire life in what most people would call Hell... because it is!

Fire, brimstone, demons, orgies of sins, pitchforks, and tortured souls—all that good stuff. Samael doesn't know any of that, though. Her time was spent in the deepest reaches of Tartarus, living has a wandering hermit with her devil father and the occasional visit of a naggy angel aunt.

Meanwhile, Sophia lives a peaceful life as a young priestess on a sacred island mostly ignored by the world at large. But as her day is taking a turn for the absolute worst, an unexpected ally will stumble into her path and completely turn her peaceful existence over its head.

As gods play games and old Machiavellian machinations come to fruition to threaten the very foundation of three entire dimensions, will our unlikely duo manage to stay alive and—perhaps—save the day?

...

Well, I don't know because I've not written that far yet.

So there you have it. Pretty standard story I've been jotting down on my phone here and then, in bits and pieces, over the past two years or so, and which I now decided to give a quick spring cleaning and post (for your potential enjoyment?) in this time of viral tension and confined boredom. Expect adventure, romance, some light comedy, inconsistent posting speed, basic storytelling, obvious foreshadowing and debatable plot twists.

And who knows?! Depending on how well-received this is, I might even finish it! Suspense... suspense...

I do not own the cover art, which is based on a beautiful drawing by FionaHsieh .
