I hate spoilers. Sounds innocent enough, right? Well, my hatred runs abnormally deep. Knowing information ahead of time taints the experience in a profound way even if it's 'harmless' like, "You'll enjoy the ending." Already, I can start narrowing down the likely outcomes. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) most people don't share this same disgust, not to the same level. Who's to say which perspective is better? I have my view so that's how I'm starting this description. I can promise this story will continue to be improved, though I do hope its quality is already above average. I'll also promise that it will continue far into the future, even if it's not particularly popular. If you're like me, I dare you to stop here, start reading, and enjoy the ride. Otherwise…
Many are the paths taken in life, branching into the infinite. Progress, regret, mistakes, joy, discovery, pain. They all adorn the intersections. This is a story of two specific paths, and as such, we must start near the beginning. Otherwise, why would the destination matter? The material they tread upon is Alyndor, a dangerous fantasy world with pockets of peace. Beasts will be challenged, secrets uncovered, friends gained and lost. The intersections don't matter though. Not in of themselves. Which turn is taken and why, that's what matters. There's a richness to those choices and my responsibility is to paint them as best I'm able. Not with a brush, not even the pen…no, I paint in ideas. If I can draw them across the canvas of your mind, not to influence but rather, to share them in a way that transcends human language. If I can do that…I'll rest each night, in bliss.
Chapters will each be 2-3k words, released on M-W-F.
