The old continents of the world are gone. Now Ferdinand travels from island to island in a flooded archipelago trying to uncover the secrets of the past.

No one knows how the Archipelago was formed, but when the great continents split, what was left of humanity had to decide how to rebuild. Each island has its own vision of an ideal society, whether that was to reconnect with nature or ensure the best life for the majority of people.

After Ferdinand is forced to leave his own island, he embarks on a trip across the islands of the Archipelago to explore each culture and try and work out what created the flooded earth.
