This story follows Tajiri and Iryun, one a young man who died tragically young only to be reborn in the body of a young spirit fox in another world, and the other a spirit fox of mixed parentage. This is a story of adventure, slavery, and struggles for freedom from the whims of arrogant and petty godlings in a world that serves as their playground. This story utilizes elements of cultivation (minor) and magic, as well as a skill system that enhances individual power as one raises skills to higher levels.

Tajiri awoke to find himself in front of an old man who claims to be a god, offering him three skills as an apology for accidentally killing him during a trip to Earth. He naturally accepts the offer and is reborn in the body of a young spirit fox named Iryun. Tajiri and Iryun quickly find themselves forced to depart their home with their mother due to circumstances beyond their control.
