The river Nymon is the life vein of the land, and this story, just like the river, twists and turns and flows.Nyls Thæsay lives a directionless life. He's an alcoholic and a bum. As life twists and turns, he join a mercantile Captain, a man called Sylas, and gets dragged into a series of events which force him to break with his habit. But not all is what it seems and unseen forces influence the course of Sylas's vessel, interfering with Nyls's own goals. He asks himself a question: Is this life his own, or is the mysterious figure in his dreams, called the Master, the one in control?
