For nearly twenty years the united human front has held the line against the encroaching enemy, fighting battle after battle over three fronts. But even in this daunting time, threats to this newfound alliance of mankind rises. In the south, the successors of an ancient empire claws at each other's throats even as demons lay waste to their cities. In the west, two decades of war has taken its toll, and Laquindent crumbles under the will of its people. But the largest threats come from unseen places, for at the centre of it all, the lands of Mittelvania rot from the inside as its armies desperately throw themselves against the unending tide.
