Finn, an altogether ordinary boy, dies a seemingly ordinary death. But after his witch sister revives him from the dead, he is whisked away to an otherworldly city, where he is made a slave due to his undead status. There, he must plot a way to go home or risk eternal life in servitude, without even the freedom of death to look forward to.
