Instead of killing the boy, Tristan offers to prepare Leeroy to join the military. After the events of The Waking World, Leeroy finally makes it into the Crimson Elite. The training proves to be more difficult than he could have ever imagined, but the tests soon become the least of his worries as he uncovers a secret plot designed by a hoard of deadly creatures known as the Dagonians, who are rising from the sea to conquer the surface dwellers.
