What do the other members of your party even do when you don't take them along for quests when you're playing your favourite RPG?

In this setting, the three extras clear out trash mobs and collect treasure after the main party steamrolls through an area. In a dungeon of the High Demon of Flesh, they find a corrupted angel, named Guide, that had been captured and corrupted. Against their better judgement, they decide a rescue attempt is in order.
