TLDR: STEM student meets generic isekai.

Meet John, a young adult brought to another world in the body of his videogame character. But wait! There's a twist! (Not really) All of his skill points were put into one spell which is useless in this new world! How will John, now reincarnated as Berrick, find his way through this new world?... No really, please let me know. I have no buffer or backlog and am struggling with ideas. I'm kidding… (But if an idea comes to you….)

Now I know what you're thinking. Mr. Q, I've heard of this story before. His 'useless' skill turns out to be super OP right? Well yes, but actually no.

Written, in a large part, to vent my frustrations with aspects of the isekai setting / fantasy genre. For all my fellow harem-haters out there rest assured no harems shall be found here. This is a full-on discovery writer piece, so I have no clue where its going.
