What happens when the hero from another world turns out to just be a stopgap for a world's problems and, in some cases, ends up becoming an even bigger threat to the world they 'helped' than the threat they were sent to destroy? Worse, what happens when they now have powers beyond what that world could ever hope to confront?

Obviously just send a new hero, with a few more caveats and limits in place. If they're lucky, their soul won't be shredded to pieces and they might even succeed.
