Allel is haunted by memories she didn't ask for, and now she is haunted by her dead husband (which she arguably did ask for). Her problems are piling up and her past has caught her scent, so she runs. Just like she always has. She'll run away from her problems, her pressures, and even reality; Fracture is a great place to escape from reality. Too bad the rest of civilization has an invested interest in making real, well, real, and her pursuers are very motivated.

Allel is an expert at running away, but some things just can't be escaped.

This is my Nanowrimo story; I'll do an editing pass before posting, but let's be real; it's gonna be rough. That said I hope you enjoy this story while I desperately type away at that 55,555-word goal.
