In the year 2041, Dr. Henry "Hank" Swanson accompanies the third manned mission to Mars. He's a linguist, tasked with translating petroglyphs found on alien ruins. But he never expected that an unknown technology hidden in those ruins would teleport him to the other side of the galaxy. Now stranded on the ancient, deadly, low-gravity planet of Urdowyr, he falls in with a primitive tribe of orc-like humanoids. But all he really wants is to seek out more ruins and hopefully find his way home…
