Life is tough in the City of Easy Kai. A fantasy world ruled by magic, monsters, and video-game rules that was made worse by the pesky "Offies", off-worlders who keep showing up, calling themselves "Adventurers," and trying to go on "Quests." The only thing worse is that everyone but a young man named Kit seems completely happy to appeal to the adventurers' every whim.

But that's probably because no one likes him, either.

The town pariah, and a notorious con artist, Kit is barely scraping by in the world when he receives a wonderful windfall: a jaw-droppingly beautiful girl named Mizuki falls from the heavens and thinks Kit is her heroic guide for her own Isekai adventure.

The two set out on a comedic genre-savvy journey, encountering all manner of spoils, foils, dungeons, and bizarre creatures and characters, with Kit making it all up as he goes. What choice does he have other than to play along with this new con?

An attempt at a tongue-in-cheek Game Lit comedy. This is an Isekai LitRPG set in a fantasy world. There are stats and loot, and a scoundrel MC whom readers hopefully learn to love.
