"Choose wisely", they said. Paths cannot be changed. They can lead right up to the throne, or to the heap of corpses that throne was built upon. And Destiny always pulls you on with your path, no matter how much you resist.

Destiny Roads was revolutionary; it was the first VR MMORPG game released ever. It featured an almost infinite world with infinite possibilities that stemmed from a system known as the 'Pathway System', where players choose an exclusive 'path' from three gates and unlock new abilities to explore the world.

Yet because of a clumsy mistake, Adira fell into the wrong gate! And ended up being stuck with the only non-exclusive path: 'The Path of the Peasant'. Great. But like what they say, if life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

So Adira carries on, bregrudgingly fullfilling the meager tasks given by her path she discovers that...?! Her path is changing? And the rewards too? What's happening?!
