After graduating top of her class and receiving the ceremonial title of the greatest witch of the century , Vera Viridum ran away. Tired of being ignored and pushed around by the older magicians, she hid in small hut far away from civilization.

But her peaceful life of picking flowers and brewing potions together with her dragon companion Fangus, was not to last. For a dragon-napped elven prince suddenly pulled her back into the spotlight she had tried to avoid.
