<p> From the beginning of recorded time, the System has existed to give shape to magic. It enables Zeroes (those mortals with no magic) a means with which to gain it and learn its uses, with some even becoming gods. But the system is a poorly built framework to keep a broken design from rattling dangerously off course. Enter Akamori, a farmer on a far-flung colony with a heavy case of wanderlust. Saddled with responsibilities and burdens he has no interest in, he'd rather travel and go on adventures. But when adventure comes to him as an invasion force of Sauridius necromancers and orcs, Akamori's peaceful reality with simple problems is shattered permanently. Swept up in a race to save his sector of space from a sweeping cloud of soul shackling Dragons, Akamori is conscripted to service in the Mage Federation as Spell Soldier. Assigned to Captain Morwen, the Valkyrie of Torun and her NCOIC Sgt. Sirsir, a massive mage lugging a heavy spell machine gun. It falls to the mage squad to stop the Sauridius and their schemes. Failure means total domination of the entire sector as everyone becomes unwilling puppets to the unfathomable Sauridius. </p> <p> <em> Hey all!
