<p> Oliver, a young boy of twelve years. After surviving a deadly car accident which resulted in the death of his mother is taken in by his grandparents. Frustrated, confused, and fearful about the future he simply wishes to end the school year as quickly as possible. However, after being persuaded by his friend Aidan and taunted into a ruthless dare him and nine of his classmates trek through the cave system along the edge of there town. Along there travels they find a strange orb that pulsates and draws them closer and as <em> <strong> Oliver reaches out...he is awakened. </strong> </em> </p> <p> Follow Oliver, a young boy of twelve years as he is flung into a completely different world, with no hope of ever returning. A world full of demons, monster's, and men as he struggles to survive this new environment. As he grows as both a person and a man, as his enemies fall by his blade as he uses and struggles with the strange powers of the mark, a strange brand he is blessed with after his awakening. </p> <p> Now Oliver must make a choice...shall he reunite all the other oppressed races of this world and aim his blade at a tyrannical empire. Or rather lose himself to the maddening thumb of power, and realize how deadly, chaotic, and lustful the pursuit of power can truly be. </p>
