<p> The Seven Tiers are a place of horror, where the ragged remnants of civilizations and races are transported to compete for resources and power for the amusement of the gods. Desperation, hunger, desire... all of these things are food for the senses of the inscrutably malevolent masters of the planes. </p> <p> The story follows one Clephas as he rises from the depths of horror and despair to make his mark on the Tiers. </p> <p> Note: This is a new story I started for the Writathon. I do intend to complete it at some point, but I'll be restarting the Hooded King after the Writathon. Just for the hell of it, I gave the main character my handle name. </p> <p> [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] </p>
