<p>Textbook definition of a Vaewolf; Hybrid, of Vampire and Werewolf.</p> <p>Connor Reeves, a university student from Earth, was killed in an unfortunate accident. Following the words of some mysterious entity, he is reborn in another world with no memories of his former life.</p> <p>Leo is a teenager raised by a priest and a priestess who runs the Filament orphanage. While his world is one that is filled with magic and wonder, he happens to be a cripple unable to cast any spell. Despite this, he is a driven young man, consumed by the desire to cast magic, in some form or manner. While on a search for ingredients, he falls off the cliffside following a series of strange incidents.</p> <p>Leo/Connor regains the memories of his former life and awakens in a mysterious tower, in a monster-infested forest. To his delight, he finds that his senses are heightened and that he is stronger and faster.</p> <p>It's all fun and games until he discovers the chilling desire for blood and hearts, the need to chase and hunt prey, and the crippling fear of the sun. Realizing that it is not only the forest that is infested with monsters but also himself, Leo has to first learn to control his new body if he wishes to survive and solve the mystery before him. And he must, for his new powers were never granted for his own convenience.</p> <p>In fact, even the hybrid of two a Vampire and a Werewolf isn't sufficient to face all the challenges waiting for him.
