<p>Alex used to have a pretty good life. Well, maybe not good. But stable. Normal even. Unfortunately somewhere along the way he messed up. Money troubles had been chasing him his entire life, and finally they caught up to him. He dropped out of college, unable to keep up with the mounting pressure and mounting debt. With no job and no prospects, Alex found himself broke, ill-tempered and with a brand new alcohol problem. He spent his days drifting aimlessly, a bitter and resentful outcast.</p> <p>But fate had other plans for Alex. In an instant, his life is turned upside down when he is snatched from Earth and thrust into a bloody trial. Along with 5,000 other participants, he finds himself in an unfamiliar environment, where he has to fight both humans and... other. The rules are simple: survive, or die trying.</p> <p>After all, the mysterious council made it clear. Though 5,000 may enter, only 10 shall leave.</p> <p>.</p> <p>.</p> <p>Disclaimer: This is my first ever attempt at writing a novel. I'm mainly doing it for fun and to gain experience.
