<p>[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]</p> <p>When aliens induct humanity into a game for their own amusement, and bombard tutorial towers into the earth, James Wise is crushed under one of them. Instead of having his soul harvested like the rest however, the tutorial tower responsible for his death believes him to be an administrator, and makes him responsible for managing the tower for the duration of the game.</p> <p>Responsible for a device that can make or break the survival of millions of humans, James struggles to give humanity as much of an advantage as he can within the tower's rules, and while trying to avoid being noticed by the true administrators managing the events of the game.</p> <p>But how much power does he really have, when the same glitch that made him an administrator is wreaking havoc on the tower itself, corrupting classes and monsters alike?</p>
