<p> Orphaned at a young age, and forced to flee from the orphanage with his fellow children, Adam has little trust in parental figures. When he is suddenly Gifted the class of Mother he is at a loss to understand what he needs to do to grow. Luckily the system provides a way forward, although the cost is prohibitive. The system promises to provide assistance in raising his affinity with his class through the time honored tradition of mental slavery. This goes hand in hand with him being sold into actual slavery as a combat nanny. </p> <p> With the two goals of changing his class into something more suited for himself and reconnecting with the orphan kids he was forced to leave behind, Adam will have to struggle through slavery, noble masters that expect perfection, political intrigue impacting his daily life, the embarrassment of having the class of Mother, and raising someone else's children. Even if he can get beyond all that, he would still be an uneducated, escaped slave far from the only home he has ever known. The good news is that his Mother class is combat capable, has tons of utility, and is seemingly custom made to handle the madhouse his life becomes. Sadly, the kids might end up being the easiest part of the whole mess. </p> <p> ~ What to expect: </p> <p> The first arc of the story is more of an origin story. As such, it will lean slightly more towards slice of life than later arcs while he grows through his teens, although it should be rather amusing. Action, intrigue, and adventure, while light in the first arc will still play a part there, but be more prevalent in the following arcs. </p> <p> LitRPG elements will be light. There is a system with classes and skills, but less numbers associated with it than in most works. Progress in active skills is less about numbers and more about familiarity, while passives are less passive than most would expect. </p> <p> Chapter lengths will be roughly 1500 words for a while in an attempt to keep me from rambling on. Once I get a handle on that habit I'll make them longer. </p> <p> Original release schedule will aim for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday because those days suffer from a severe drought of interesting things to read. I may also add in the weekends if I can keep up, but Monday and Friday are already full of great stuff to read. </p> <p> Rather interesting classes, and not just his. I strive to make things different from the norm class wise. </p> <p> ~ Warnings: </p> <p> Traumatizing and possibly triggering events and actions are mentioned, although not focused upon. </p> <p> If romance makes an appearance, it will be a long way off and not be sexually explicit. </p> <p> There will be no harem. </p> <p> This is NOT a gender bender, nor is it a political statement about ANYTHING. </p>
